Challenge
Process steam from wood chips was to be provided for a food production plant.
Solution
A mechanical grate firing with fly ash recirculation supplies a combined water-tube and fire-tube steam generator. Economiser, flue gas cleaning and glass-tube heat exchanger complete the plant.
Result
The plant was commissioned in December 2012. The combustion air is preheated with recovered flue gas heat.
