While many plant manufacturers have outsourced production, Kablitz holds on to its own foundry. For several generations we have been producing high-quality cast components at our works in Lauda-Königshofen. For our customers this means uncompromising material quality, longer service lives and maximum security of supply.

Certified quality management
For generations our grey cast iron has been used for our own finned plate heat exchangers and boiler components. Its structure offers optimum thermal conductivity, high compressive strength and excellent corrosion resistance to aggressive flue gases.
For components in the furnace exposed to extreme mechanical and thermal stress, we cast high-alloy heat-resistant chromium steels (including materials 1.4777 and 1.4823). These materials resist scaling and high-temperature corrosion even with the most difficult biomass and residue qualities.
Quality is no coincidence for us: every melt is checked for its exact chemical composition by modern spectral analysis. Hardness and microstructure tests ensure that all material properties meet demanding standards.
