The biomass CHP plant in Bychow supplies a pellet production site and feeds 80 million kWh of electricity into the grid every year.

Challenge
Untreated biomass and residues from the company's own production serve as fuel. Flue gas cleaning had to meet the limits under Belarusian law; the state environmental impact assessment was passed in December 2019.

Solution
Kablitz supplied the plant from the walking floor to the stack: fuel feeding, reciprocating grate firing and boiler for 46 t/h at 85 bar and 495 °C, turbine with air-cooled condenser, electrostatic precipitator and flue gas condenser.
Result
Since 2022, the plant has generated 80 million kWh of electricity and 144 million kWh of heat every year. The flue gas condenser lowers the flue gas temperature to 75–95 °C.
