Two saturated steam plants with 21 tonnes of steam per hour each. Straw and miscanthus supply energy for a food industry site.

Challenge
A sugar and starch producer needed two identical saturated steam plants. The low ash melting point of straw and miscanthus placed special demands on combustion.
Solution
The boiler geometry was matched to the fuel. A cyclone pre-cleans the flue gases, followed by a fabric filter.
Result
Commissioned at the beginning of 2018, the two saturated steam plants were integrated into a system with two further gas boilers.
