Kablitz stands for environmentally friendly energy generation from biomass. As a plant manufacturer, we plan and supply complete biomass cogeneration plants, boiler systems and hot gas generators as well as heat recovery equipment. At the heart of the systems are the Kablitz grates, which enable the thermal utilization of almost all combustible biomasses.
Since its foundation in Riga, Latvia, in 1901, the owner-managed company has been active in the field of firing and heating technology and quickly became known throughout the former Soviet Union thanks to its innovative founder Richard Kablitz. At the beginning of the 1950s, the family moved to Germany together with the company.
The medium-sized traditional company, with over 120 years of company history, has been family-owned for many generations and operates its own foundry and steel production facility at the company headquarters in order to meet the high quality standards of its products.
A team of over 70 employees works worldwide for our customers, most of whom come from the wood-based materials and sawmill industries. Our customer base also includes energy suppliers, contracting companies and local authorities. Kablitz systems can be found all over the world: Europe, Asia, South and North America as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Our many years of experience, combined with a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015, guarantee a superior technical and economic concept for the environmentally friendly generation and recovery of thermal energy.
In addition to pure plant engineering, we also see ourselves as a service provider for our customers. As a medium-sized company, we are geared towards being on site within a few hours in the event of problems and offering our customers individual solutions for their needs.
